Problems already...

    Hey guys,

Back to the saxo world, and have my first problem...

Driving along last night, my speedo lights went.

On investigation, I have a tail light out. No dash lights and no side lights.

Replaced the fuse and it blew straight away.

Replaced tail bulb and removed sidelight bulbs, replaced fuse, and pop.

Still nothing, it was very bumpy and very wet, any ideas?

    Cheers guys

Had exactly the same issue last night, although mine was caused bu a fook of massive pothole or atleast i assume thats why it went - also my airbag light and engine management light came on around the same time....

Jump in her this morning, gave the fuses a check over a little wiggle and replaced any blown fuses/bulbs, gave her a good run up moterway and back then turned everything on and they work fine again now. engine management light and air bag light went out on there own

Can't seem to find anything, no signs of water anywhere, nothing seems even damp, not sure where else to check

Makes sense bud, I'll try again later though no signs of anything. Massive pot hole ties up though!

Disconnect rear lights from the car, replace fuse. Does it still blow. YES=disconnect front lights /dashboard plug and try again
NO = Fault with a rear light cluster. etc etc

Trial and error approach unless you have a multimeter i'm afraid.

Did as you said, switched on and re plugged all back in one by one, no faults found but all fixed!
