nope it wont work. isocyanate (contained in 2k paints) cannot be filtered properly by charcoal filters so it will work fine for the first couple of days then after that you will be better off with no mask at all.
the only masks that are legal for 2k paints are air fed masks with a activated charcoal + dehydrated lime filter to filter the air from the airline.
i have seen 2 people become sensitized to 2k paint as they use to prime with no mask and your lungs go into spazam and without oxygen you basically drown.
not worth the risk for a cheap mask if your going to do any amount of spraying.

itll be just a tail gate a rear bumper n possibly a front wing, but thats crazy how a military grade nbc mask cant filter that chemical out? i know after a certain amount of use you have to change the filter anyway, so you recon just avoid it? surley it'll be better then a diy filter mask? im going to be careful what ever i do ,but i dont want to be buying a full on air fed mask for something i'll be doing maybe once every 3 years, thanks for your opinion though,

they can take something like 12 hours of spraying so basically a throw away that's what i use at home but make sure you put it in a air tight container after use or it will be ruined the next time u want to use it.
