under the car heat sheild

   if i remove this will it cause any damage to anything? my exhaust keeps knocking on the heat sheild as its been mangled and is just hanging

   not too sure, but wouldn't it be easier to just repair the exhaust?

   its not the exhaust the actuall heat sheild is mangled .... so its haning over the exhaust and just banging away

   think crap may get into the gear linkages etc....dont quote me but i though about getting rid of mine and heat wrapping my zorst and i THINK thats what they said....

    i took mine off when fitted my exhaust that was 5 months ago no probs at all if it saves annoyin he fu*k out of u rip it off all counts as weight saving

    remove it I took mine off and everything works fine nothing there that can be damaged really.

    Rip 'em all off, just leave the wadding stuff that's on the side of the fuel tank. No more to rattle at all then.
