relay set on fire!!!

ok so start off by sayin since the day i got my saxo i have had electrical problems due to the dickhead who hacked away at all the cables befor i had it..

in most saxos the wiring by the passenger footwell is reasonably tidy where as mine is hanging all over the place with connector blocks everywhere!!

but tonight i was driving home, heard a crackling noise and my car filled with dirty black smoke!

i have a cable controlling the powersteering n the heaters which goes into a yellow 5-pin relay, this cable has burnt out before bt not so bad.. i fiddled around for some hours tidying up the majority of what i can.. bt now the same cable has burnt out n set alight while im driving!

im sure no one is going to be able to give me a answer as the description is brief!!

but any help would do as i need to get this sorted tomorrow!

also is the dash hard/long to remove? as im going to need as much access to the passenger footwell box as i can!

any help grateful!!!!

oh and im from Solihull if anyone knows a good autospark that wnt cost 'too' much!

not going to help but a previous owner had fucked all the wiring for my stereo up it was literally all backwards with blocks and wires everywhere so spent a nice while tidying up today looks much better.

hope you get yours sorted as just knowing the state winds me up, even if it is relatively hidden

Trust! i dont know how someone can f**k the wiring up so bad!

see your from leeds.. im suppose to be driving up there friday.. which is why this needs to b sorted tomorrow!!! ha!
