Big ASS electrical nightmare

Got a 2000 vtr single plug and the old interior loom was pretty much knackered kept blowing fuses etc with wiring melted.

Purchased a second hand interior loom off ebay from a 98 vtr.

Plugged it all in and all headlights work etc with dash lights on.

Now when i come to start it nothing happens i can hear a relay under the ecu click and also a few in the passenger fuse panel. Immobiliser isnt active as far as im aware due to no key on dash.

Fuel pump doesnt prime either, checked all the earths are secured and clean which they are.

The only thing i can see wrong is that there is a large 4 wired plug in the engine fusebox which isnt connected to anything as i cant seem to find any plug that will and also a brown 4 wire plug.

any suggestions ?

im no expert with this but id reccommend you look at what you took out and find where it connects to everything else, making sure to trace all fuses to where they should go and making sure that everything that was connected to it is still able to connect to it. Also make sure that the fuses used are the same.

yeh ive got all my old stuff connected up this just seems to be not used on my car for some reason, all the fuses i took out the old fusebox and put them back in correctly.
