cambelt.. Prices?

Looking at the invoices.. the cam belt on my 98" vts was replaced around 2006. However looks like the previous owner has done all work that needed to be done by himself, (no service history at all) e.g clutches, Coil pack, services etc. Now I'm not to sure when the cam belt it actually due, but Im thinking about Changing it anyway for piece of mind. How much roughly would i be looking at? Belt, Tensioner rollers etc.

    Thanks.

Yeah it's expensive at a garage due to labour costs :-(

apparently from what i have been told, the cambelt needs to be changed every 50-60000 miles or every 10 years. just a little bit of info to help you decide whether to do it.

lol, it's funny how people expect things for next to nothing/free. Exactly the same with plumbing mate. The customer never seems to take into account, the money it took you to qualify, travel costs, time, the use of your skill/expertise/tools. It's beyond me how some people think these days
