Yea but you will notice it! I've got this set up on my quiksilver and the torque and mid range power is epic really for a 1.4!

Do it you will benefit plus it will sound better

As a rough average with those mods I would say 5bhp (as mentioned above above) although in reality, it could be anything from 0-10bhp

You probably wont notice 5bhp difference on a 98bhp engine to be honest
Everyone says they do notice a different but generally this is in thier heads to justify the money they spent

If you are planning to do more mods to up the power then it may be worth spending say £250 on those two as a starter for 10

or spend £250 on VTS lump, and you will certainly know the difference

this. more cost effective to just do the conversion first if youre going for power

Defo put a s lump in, then attach the mods mentioned above, major bhp figures!

major BHP not really mate, with a mani and induction and exhuast your prob see 120-130bhp. i got 127bhp from filter, mani and cat back piper..

probs with doing the conversion is rapped by insurance. is it cost effective then i think not.

Ive come to terms that my filter/mani/straightback is all placebo effect.

It -does- rev quicker, but only in neutral.
    no real extra pulling power..

no theres definately a difference i was just wondeing what sort of hp it would be. it gets from 80 to 100 alot quiker than it use to and it goes through the gears more smooth strangely mid range power is a yes aswell i noticed as soon as you hit 40 in 2nd it really picks up

my 98hp vtr with raceland/green filter piper backbox supersprint race centre pipe and a cat with no catalyst in it ran 106bhp on rolling road, so +8 if the rollers were accurate.
