50 mpg from my VTR!

   just filled up my tank. noted the miles and how many litres i put in.
   
   and from about 3/4 motorway driving the rest, country roads and a bit in
   town it returned 50.2mpg!!
   
   i didnt go over 65mph once though.
   
   but that was still 420 miles to 38 litres of unleaded!
   
   well chuffed with that,,

   The MK1 VTR on the official extra urban run is given as 48.7MPG so you've done pretty well there like!
