which manifold for mk2?

   the aim is: decat mk2
   
   i have 51 plate vtr and wantin a decent manifold for decat..now i heard all the rubbish 421 manifolds will hit the oil filter on a mk2...where almost 99% of 4-1 manifolds miss it.
   is this true?
   if not then what manifold will miss the oil filter for a mk2? i had few people say dont get 421 as its poop for a mk2 and a 4-1 does a better job and dsnt get in way of the oil filter.
   AM EAGER TO BUY ONE! JUST WANTIN TO MAKE SURE I BUY ON THAT WILL DODGE THE OIL FILTER

   I think the raceland 4-1 misses the filter and the supersprint 4-2-1 misses it as well. Cant think of others at the moment, but im sure there are more that dont hit the filter.

   The 3 that are on Kam Racing website are the Raceland 4-1, Supersprint 4-2-1 and a Janspeed 4-2-1.

   I might get myself a raceland 4-1 due to it being alot cheaper. Just need some money

   Chances are I'm gonna do the same too at some point, probably once MOT time has been and gone. From what I have read about the Raceland one, is that the reason it's cheaper is build quality. Apparently its a bit of a bastard to fit, but once its fitted, you will see similar gains in BHP to the more expensive Manifolds.

   Yeah, dont fancy paying over 300 for supersprint even though its got best quality i just simply cant pay that much. Might wait for my MOT as well dont have to bother with it then for another year. Didnt realise it was fiddly to fit though, just have to wait and see.

   the janspeed 4-2-1 with sports cat is so good i got it on mine, all the gains but no hassles come mot time either. bastard to fit but well worth it after. was a couple in for sale section on here and sometimes do pop up on ebay but usually for 106(that fit saxo and clear the oil filter) for around £120-150 delivered if you don;t wanna fork out £450 on kam

   can grab any of the manifolds mentioned off the sale section on here for 70-90 easy well i seen few sell for that much...looks like am gonna be raceland and supersprint manifold shopping! great replys guys, spot on!
