Important! : starting problem urgent help needed

   hi its not a saxo but you guys are more helpful than any other place to look. i have a 1.6 bora 1999 and i went out to start it this morning and it wouldnt turn over. there is plenty of life in the battery but it just wont crank any ideas.

   starter motor? have you checked the battery and alternator? when was the car last started?

   it was last running last night at alf 11, ive just been out and the battery is showing 11.44 v so i think it could be that.

   The car needs at least 12v to start, 11.4 is not enough to start the car so its most proberbly that, other than the battery check the starter solenoid and the starter relay,
   If the car has an immobilizer, check that thats ok too.

   turns out it was a loose earth strap on the starter motor cheers for the help anyway
