Upper Strut Brace Any Good?

   Just bought an upper strut brace for my car, and has anyone actually noticed a difference in handling after theyve been fitted, or isit purely just for looks in the engine department? cheers

   Depends which one you've bought mate. Ones like the e-tech or whatever it's called are just for show really.

   from what i've seen around opinion seems to be the upper one is more for show, the lower one helps with handling.

   I haven't really heard anything about the Sparco one, but a lower brace will do more than an upper brace.

   I am sure the upper one would make a slight difference but I have heard nothing but good things about lower strut braces apart from clearance issue's

   I've got a E-tec upper brace and I am not sure if it's just a placebo effect but it feels better..

   You wont really feel a difference, but it does work. Certainly controls the tyres far better in my experience.

    I've fitted the OMP upper one, and noticed a bit more grip like. Bought a lower one to go with it to, but yet to fit that one, but been told that the lower one makes the most difference

    in my opinion can hold onto corners alot safer and stick to them at higher speeds.

    Upper strut brace is most effective under hursh cornering(reduces the flex in the chassis) otherwise waste of space and money. sorry but thats the truth.
