Replacement HID bulbs

   One of my hid bulbs has blown only after 4 months of having them , i have grown to like 8,000k but mykit was 6,000k could i put 8k bulbs into my current ballasts?

   Any bulb colour works with any ballast, just order some new bulbs and its all plug and play.
