water in my head

   i have just took the rocker cover off my 1997 vts and there is water sat under the cam but only just above the 3rd piston along from the drivers side and its only on the exhaust side not the inlet side anyone no what it could be it has been mentioned to me that i might have an issue with my valves could this be part of it ? many thanks any help is appreciated

   Clean it out, see if it returns. May be somthing small. Does is run fine ?

   no its not running at the min just had the head rebuilt and new gaskets and cams put it back together tryed to start it and it just back fierd so looked at it this morning and its got water in the head it seems to have a lot of compression ?

   Hmm. are u sure its water n not fuel. Are they uprated cams like fast road ones if so have u had a remap to deal with them. Also Make sure your Head is tight to the block and i mean tight.

   i have ook the head back off to check the valves its water i think and they are kent cams but the car has a chipped ecu am gonna redo te valves then put it all back toghether and se if it works i will keep you posted

   Ok mate, it may be the timming slightly out so just make sure. i had this problem on my my 1.2 sxi corsa haha

   When you put it back together take it for a run & check the spark plugs every so often if the thread of the plug is rusty then theres water in there & possibly means a cracked head.
