new shocks or not?

   Living in Poole/Bournemouth the roads are pretty shit and car bumps and crashes - anyone living here knows what I mean.
   Could have affected my VTR but don't notice any difference in the 2 years or so I've had it.
   How can I know if I need to replace these or not. The 'bounce a corner' test generally proves diddly squat.

   if it feels fine on long bends and there is no knocking i wouldn't worry....if your still unsure then give the springs and dampers a quick visual.....jack it up and grab the wheel at 12 and 6 and give it a good wobble...repeat at the 3 to 9 position.....they should be virtually no give or knocking noises.....then park the car on a bit of newspaper under each wheel to check for any leaks from the dampers and brakes.....thats about all you can do mate!!!! but she sounds fine
