VTR doorcard query

   Are the doorcards on a VTR dismantlable?
   
   IE, is it possible to remove the cards and then take them apart so i can isolate the fabric covered bit. I'm considering removing the HORRID fabric and replacing it with a carbon skin but obviously it needs to be completely isolated for it to be done neatly.
