Saxo Gear Linkages

I have not long owned a saxo and i think that the gears feel very sloppy and have an awful lot of play, if I purchase this set

Does this makes it stop, it says it does, but im just wondering if anyone has any experience in dealing with these sorts of kits.

    Thanks in advance. Dan

sometimes its the joint underneath the gearstick. mines wonderfully vague but don't have the time to root around for it!

it might do if its the rubbers in the oe linkages that have gone, other wise it could be the pin that goes through the selector thing on the box, you cn get new pins for them for buttons at citroen ordrill it out and put a bolt in, have a search mate theres loads of info on here somewhere

i have linkages similar to those as my rubbers were extremely worn and then felt brilliant more more precise gear change

im not 100% sure how those kam racing ones fit but with mine i just placed them on the gear selectors and then you push a little pin in to secure it on in theory its easy as easy can be BUT it was rather tricky to get little pins in they were pretty fiddly lol actually i should say it was db_sax that fitted mine did look a bit tricky but not hard

just looked at the description and they do use the pins so yer it can be a bit tricky also bear in mind my pins were a little bent which didnt make life easier lol

they would be good with a quickshift as well as obviously it doesnt affect the throw of the stick
