Slightly curbed VTR wheels...filler?

   Im going to start to refurb my wheels but one of the wheels have a slight bit of curbing on the rim or the wheel. Is it okay to use filler to smooth it off?
   
   Did a quick search but couldn't find what i was looking for.

   Yes use metal filler.
