Brake disks and pads

   This is probably a stupid question but do mk2 VTRs use the same disks and pads on the front and rear??

   No, they do not!
   Front Vt brakes are vented, rears are solid discs.

   Can you not put vented disks from the front to the back then??

   Nope, different calliper design & brake set-up.
   
   Also no need as fronts do most of the braking effort!
