Ipod/ IPhone docking

   Awrite people.
   This is kinda a interior styling/ICE question, so iv posted in both.... or
   Iv got a new haed unit (yet to fit it) with both usb and aux ports in the front. Im gunna come up with a dock in the coin tray thing under the center consol (some good ones on ere like!!!)
   
   What i wanna know and need help with is whats the best way to minimise the cluster fuck of wire being on show between my custom dock and the head unit.
   Oh, i AM a complete DIY n techno fobe. So the easier the better. lol.

   Im in the same boat what i was thinking was getting a 90 degree usb adapter and then running an ipod cable down the side and up under and into the bit infront of the gear stick.
   
   Could work not sure yet.

   ive hidden the majority of my excess cabling under that lower console i havent made a dock mind but the coin tray is where i chuck the iphone while its plugged in

   Im also doing the same but instead of using a cable to connect it im going to use an FM Transmitter

   Now just got to build it into the dock and get power to it

   Thats a swwet idea brov. might giv that a blag yet. theres a good progress thred in there somewhere................!!!
   Anyone got a way or running the usb cable from dock to the front of the head unit so it looks tidy....?

   i might be making a docking pod for mine this weekend ill put some pics up after and mine is the same its at the front lol
