Yesterday she lost abit of exceleration power, but kind of regained it again after i had a wiggle of some bits and bobs under the hood..
The issue i have now is gearlinkages are becoming a pain in the arse again even though i had them replaced 2 weeks ago.. but thats a minor issue.
The problem i have is reverse mainly..
The clutch seems a little high at the moment so im guessing its on its way out, but, pulling off (forward) and going through the gears its perfectly fine, no cruching grinding or anything.
If i pop her in reverse she will either be ok if its just a short toddle back, but anything over 1ft and she will try and stall, the gears sound asthough there grinding, while on the throttle and there seems to be a very light clutch burning smell. but this only ever happens in reverse..
i also have quite abit of pull to the right which seems to have gotten worse over the last day or two, also on full lock earlier i heard a bit of a crunch but this was only the once.. i hit a pretty big arse pot hole the other day so i guess i could of bent something or knocked it out of allignment or something.
But does the whole reverse issue sound like gearbox or clutch issues? or maybe even both?
I jsut got a little cash i wasnt expecting but was planning on a respray as the paint work isnt 100% just wondered how much i should be trying to keep back as i need to try and arrange with my mate tomorrow about the spray job and when/if its likely to be
