Oil and handbrake light playing games

   I fitted a new alternator to my 16v saxo yesterday anc all was good but later on when it was dark i noticed the oil light and handbrake light keep flickering on and off at times???? Anybody got any ideas? All i did was change the alternator simple swap.

   Check oil and brake fluid level!

   Lol that maybe a good idea! its seems more of a dodgey wire flicker more than anything but it wont do it sitting on the spot the car has to be moving.

   same here mate thats what mine dose . ive put new pads on and new fluid , and still the same

   You could try cleaning up the connections on the alternator.
