Suspect Heater matrix

  1. #1
Hi guys, just bought my 1st Vtr, and have already replaced the N/S Driveshaft, aint even left the drive way yet.

When sitting inside the car there is a funny smell and the passenger side footwell, rubber mat has some moisture on it, and the carpet has what looks like mould. (Dont know untill further inspection).

Was wondering if it turns out to be the matrixs that gone how much of a job is it to do?

    Saxo Vtr 2002.

Would appreciate a "How to guide", if there is one.

    Cheers

Get a torch & look up under the dash(passenger side)is the easiest & look for any signs of water etc.

buy some forte, i imagine if you go to your local independent french garage they will sell the stuff... used this and the results were that it sealed the matrix and no more leaks.
another sign that its the matrix is that have you always have to have the blowers on the window due to like condensation?
