oil issues

   Had a problem with my saxo for while now.
   My car seems to be burning oil? Its had about 10 lite in the past 2month and can smell it burning it.
   
   Ive been told by a few mates that it could be something to do with my pistons, is this the case or is it something else?
   
   Anyone have any ideas on what this is or how it can be sorted.
