Is the linkage hitting the flange? Is it possible to rotate the flange or is it fixed?
  8. #8
its the actual part of the exhaust right by the gasket that hits I believe mate, as the whole exhaust is bigger isn't it, scorpion decat that is hitting too. think twisting it will work?

is the cat in the mani or under the car. i understand that the decat pipes under the car have a little bend in not too sure but if it does maybe its on wrong way round my mate had that problem on a 106 a while ago

i had this problem, but for me it was the rear engine mount fitted the wrong way.
  12. #12
under car cat mate, is fixing the engine mount an easy fix ?
  13. #13
    yeah just turn it round
  14. #14
if its that simple will give it a go, how can you tell if its the wrong way round mate?
  15. #15
its got the circle gasket underneath by the mani too as thats the same one that came of with the cat, is that the right one?

found the problem out people for future reference, on the normal cat there is a part of the flange cut out so it misses one of the bars under the car, whereas the decat doesn't have this so my mate took it somewhere for us where they can get it machined down
