306 Gti-6 Brakes

    Just purchased a set of calipers, I was just wondering what lines, pads and discs you guys use.

    Also do i need the 23mm master cylinder?

    Idealy you want custom lines, as it has being known for the standerds to pull tight when at extrems of steering and suspension travel.
    Over time this can cause a hose failure and if noticed at mot time is a fail.
    I can supply braided ones for £26 the pair posted.

    It was me that bought the lines lol i was just at a mates so wrote on the wrong user.

    So that's the lines sorted, Whats discs and pads are people using?

    plain disks, the gti6 crew find them the best even on track, they like the brembo brand ones

    and mintex pads either oe spec or 1144 depending on how hard you intend to use them

    the 23mm master cylinder gives a much better feeling pedal. but is not mandatory.

    on my gti-6 set up i use carbone lorraine RC6 pads with ebc ultimax discs.
