how do i get rid of this

    how can i get rid of the black trim on my door tried pealing it but its not coming off

    do you mean the black sticky bit up the side of the window if so use a hair dryer on it. it will come off just takes time.

    heat gun or a mint hairdyer then it peels off, and for the lil bits of sticky shit what left lynx spray or tar and glue and rub it like fuck and it comes off

    Hairdryer and a old store/credit card behind it.

    mine came off without the use of a hairdryer! was quite a hot day though so peeled of with ease, if theres any glue left on the car then i used AG Tar remover to remove it

    Sorry for hijack saves making new thread,

    Does it look better withouth the black bit? mine is peeling off abit so was wandering what it would look like without it, car is icelandic grey.

    EDIT: Just looked at 'Craig_B's' thread and that answered my question looks much better

    mine was a bubbly so i removed it - which took about an hour per door-



    thought it looked wank with it gone so i got a vynl company to replace it. if you do replace it, dont buy the precut kits off ebay. they dont fit and they dont stick

    Does look strange without the black bit.

    I think this looks class with the black bit. Wouldnt look right without it because of the tints
