fitted new timing belt and not starting right

   I changed the timing belt on my 1.1 saxo its all timed up correctly and when I finished I started it the car up and it ran great, I started it up later on and it didn't start on the 1st or 2nd turn of the key, sometimes it doesn't run right at idol dead lumpy and sounds like its missing, can somebody make some suggestions please

   Check the timing again & make sure you haven`t knocked something ie a connection somewhere.

   not tensioned the belt enough? belt on the right way round?

   Timing is correct and tensioned nicely, the only thing I moved was the ecu and there all connected properly

   Sounds like you could have possibly slipped a tooth or your coil pack could be on its way out.

   i will double check the timing when i have chance at work or if my boss will let me
