   does anybody know if it would be illegal to spray the inside of my headlights (the plastic part) yellow would it be illegal?

   unless its stupidly bright then it shouldn't be a problem. loads of people spray them so you can get away with it!

   paint it any colour you like as bright as you like and no one can say a word to you.

   Do not spray the reflective part though as that is illegal iirc
