Sticking revs

   Basically, after sorting out most of my problems, another one turns up to keep burning a hole in my bank account!
   
   What's happening is when I first start the car and set off, the revs will stick, until I dab the accelerator a couple of times. Even if I pop out the car for a few minutes and go back in, it'll do the same thing again - dab the go-pedal, and it's fine.
   
   Has only just started doing this a few days ago, and nearly got caught out the first time as I was coming to a busy mini roundabout!

   mine did the same but only because my rubber floor mates get in the way

   Chances are it's the ICV, search for a guide on how to clean it out.

   Try cleaning the ICV (idle control valve) and also clean the inlet manifold/throttle body.
