general upgrade questions...

   my mate says that he changed his VTR injectors to VTS ones on his mk2 VTR. would this actually make any gain? would it be worth it??
   
   Also someone on here change there throttle body to a clio one i think.. is this difficult?/ worth it??

   It would still inject the same amount of fuel and it will probably be the same spray pattern too. VTS injectors maybe able to inject more fuel quicker but not unless its mapped to do so. You will still have the same amount of air entering, so the same amount of fuel as before will be injected or else it would run rich.
   
   Clio throttle body was not a bolt on modification, it was machined to the guys own design. All completley designed at home and machined himself. Unless you have the capabilities of doing this yourself then it really is not worth it, alot of money in exchange to the sort of bhp you will gain.

   i thought that for the vts injectors tbh
   
   and yeah i could get that sort of machine work done by my friends but il not bother lol

   sorry to bump an oldish thread.
   
   I am looking at bigger injectors.
   
   at the moment i have a cammed VTR, however i am yet to get the mapping done. is there a benefit to bigger injectors if i remapped afterwards?
   
   which injectors are recommended?

   beleive most people use clio 182 injectors, someone with more knowledge will come along and post i imagine

   jungle with the turbo'd rallye is using focus rs injectors and I am sure there is a vauxhaul engine that you can use the injectors from, c20let rings a bell

    standard injectors shuold have more then enough left for what you need after a map with just cams
    
    no point updgrading really
