Any ideas for gettin them out would be good, ive tryed the socket and bolt method, tryed hitting them from the other side with a bar, soaked them alot in wd40, thought about maybe getting a slide hammer? but to be honest i dont think that would be much help either! any help appreciated cheers!

#2I'm sure slide hammer would help matey

#3I saw the title and all that came to mind was
"Hit it with a hammer"
from what I've read it usually does the trick -
#4Slide hammer is the worst method.
A bar and hammer and dont give up. -
#5cheers, will have another good go at it with the bar and hammer tommorrow hopefully get the f***er free!

#6A slide hammer will easily pull a torsion bar out....
Just not the slide hammers you lot are talking about.
Best home brew method is the bar and hammer trick as said. -
#7Mate i tried all the above methods i was up on ladders hitting a bar down with a 3lb hammer and still couldn't move mine. I eventually just used a blow torch with butane propane mix and heated up the ends very slightly and a couple of taps and out they popped!!!
