  8. #8
    Yeah that's right

About 3.5 litres but keep checking the dipstick to make sure you don't go over the max line
  9. #9
    3.5 Litres.

Any oil can be used, 5-40 fully synthetic is best though.

ohh okay thanks every one i will prob buy 5l from halfords

is there anything else i can do on my self done service

    so far

    i will do this

    fuel filter change
    air filter change
oil change to (10-40w part synthetic)

anything else easy to do ? or should be done?
  11. #11
I always check my tappets (valve clearances) and possibly flush the rad
  12. #12
    Spark plugs.

I personally would use a better oil than that. Its really quite poor.
  13. #13
how doi check my tappets? easy to do?

as i just braught car and there is a tapping noise coming from engine somewere

and how do i flush the rad~? is there a easy way?
  14. #14
You use feeler guages to check that the clearance on both inlet and exhaust valves are what they should be I have forgotten what they're meant to be sorry lol and you adjust them ,if the gap was big then they would chatter like mad
  15. #15
ohh right i should probably get this done properly then ?

what spark plugs can i use and how many is it on this car?
  16. #16
If you want but it's really easy mate
    NGK's are best
  17. #17

    lol
It looks like something you have collected Co-Co pop tokens for!

Standard filter, or something decent. No cheap tat.
  23. #23
ohh no lol sorry i wasnt getting that one i was using it as a reference lol

im planning on getting this one here

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...#ht_1482wt_905

    any good

    what does this actully do?
  24. #24
Its a run of the mill induction kit. May lose BHP over standard filter setup and you wont be able to use the air filter that comes in the service kit you have already bought.

Get something tried and tested rather than cheap tat.

Look at Green filters, K&N Gen 2 induction kits as these have proven to give good gains. The standard filter setup is very good with an uprated panal filter, so I would stick with that.
  25. #25
where can i get a uprated panel then? lol
  26. #26
yeah stick with panel filter mate or your induction kit will just suck in hot air

if you can splash some cash then the Raceland induction kit with Green air filter B8-65 is very recommended
