Whats it worth

Right i have a W reg saxo vts 91k on the clock engine mechanically sound, needs 2 rear shockers, and new pads and discs for the front, it also splutters when i run low on petrol somebody said something about cleaning something in the engine with carb cleaner but i havent a clue what to do and the power steering doesnt work and my heaters only work on heater setting 3,

How much you think would be a reasonable price to ask for it?? help appreciated thanks

p.s i dont know where to put this thread because i am not selling it on here i am listing the problems and asking advice so thought this was the most suited thread thanks

ur best bet is to try and fix up the little issues with it and generally tidy it up and sell it privately. if you give it a service even better, makes it more desireable.

then advertise it privately for around 1250 and expect to let it go for around a £1000.

Being an insurance group 14 it will take a while to sell, so be patient and have the car on the button. After being in the motor trade since the age of 14 I've seen thousands of cases like this, so c if its forth it for urself hope it helps. max.

^agreed^ even with the faults tho ull still get a few hundred off someone who wants to put the effort in
