Are all centre consoles the same?

   Hello
   
   I need a new centre console for the 106 GTI because mine is cracked
   Are they the same amonst the range of Saxos and 106's or are the specific to the model?
   
   I have a Mk1 1998 GTI btw
   
   Also, are the steering wheel surrounds the same?

   They are the same shape across all 106s, only the early stage 1s had different ones. You need to make sure it matches yours though ie with/without keypad and make sure it has electric window switches.
   
   Try and source one from the same year as your car.
