New exhaust problems?

   Basically me and my mates fitted my new exhaust yesterday, new back box and centre pipe but left the cat on.
   
   It was fine last night but now it seems to make the car shake a little and rumble when idle and it struggles to idle a little bit. We didn't use exhaust paste and it sounds like it could be blowing a little at the cat where the new pipe joins...could this be the problem? or could it be something else?

   it could be blowing, have a look to see if it is, then thats one option out of the way!

   I'm pretty sure it is blowing now, started it and looked under the car and could hear it blowing from where the cat meets the new pipe, got some sealent so gonna give that a go tomorrow morning when it's light

   Start the car put a rag over the tailpipe this will push any gases back & if you`ve got a leak you`ll see where.
