weber carb manifold?

    hi there people i want to get a weber carb manifold for my vtr engine but im not really sure were to get them from can anyone help me thanks simon.

    i wouldnt bother tbh mate, stick with injection

    if your on a budget get some gsxr bodies

    The 1.3 AX sport and the French 1.3 205 Rallye all had DCOE style manifold as standard. However these do not fit the fuel injection heads. So you have to fit the early 1.3 head (not the 106 head) if you wish to use these.

    GMC used to sell them for the Weber IDF carburettor. This fits directly to your head. They also worked much better then the 1.3 DCOE manifold.

    You have to sort out your ignition as well. Best is a stand alone ECU though you can fit a dizzy though it is a big backward step. I have seen a few people try and use the stock ECU to run it but they all ran rather poorly. I suspect if you had it mapped it should be fine.

    Generally carbs are a backwards step. To do well your talking similar money and complication as independent throttle bodies. You also get problems with passing modern MOTs with them. So most people don't bother.
