cambelt question

    hi, im looking at buying a vtr as a seconed car, and found one with 50k miles, with the cambelt changed, is that normal for a vtr??

    Nothing wrong with it. Lots of people do them earlier than they need to be done. Im going to do the one on my VTS soon as its done 50k since it last had a change.

    When I bought my first VTR i had it changed at 40k.

    Also how old is the car....? Depending on how old it is it may have been changed due to age rather than mileage. As long as everything else on the car checks out okay and the paper work looks right then i wouldnt worry about it.
