Hi Guys, Ive had a really productive weekend with my car and done a few bits to it. Everything was going well until I was in the process of glueing one of my flat blade wiper where the clip hadn't clicked properly. So I had just finished and then I accidently knocked the glue over onto my bonnet!!!!!!!! How do I go about getting it off? Any ideas???
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks
    Jonny

super glue remover or acetone will bring it off. just remember to wash the paintwork off after with shampoo and water followed by a good wax to neutralise the remover / acetone.

Why did you glue the wiper blade on? How would you replace it eventually if it's glued in place?

I bought some cheap flat blade wipers off ebay, one of the clips would stay down so i decided to glue it down. When they need replacing I will either prize it back open or just snap the clip and buy a new blade as they are so cheap it doesn't really matter

Thanks for all the help, advice and suggestions. After trying a few like white spirit, petrol, nail polish remover and boiling water none worked. I decided to use some 2500 grit wet and dry paper soaked in water, rubbed the offending spot for about 15mins and it all went, paint faded slightly but the t cut osrted that right out!
    Thanks again guys!

So you didnt try anything poeple suggested and damaged your paintwork instead? T-Cut damages paint work, not repairs it.

If you look at the thread before accusing me of not trying anything. I have tried basically everything people have suggested apart from glue and tar remover as that wouldnt take super glue off. In all honesty the paint work looks pristine and doing this was the only other option apart from super glue remover which would, in my opinion damage the paintwork more..
I have heard that some car enthusiasts wet sand their whole car and then buff it up.
I am very grateful for all the suggestions that people have offered but I dont really think your comment is valid tbh
    Thanks for your concern

tbh tcut doesnt ruin your paint work it isnt very good but its alright, jbrown you sorted the paintwork out ? maybe use poor poys polish and a carnuba wax just to seal it really with the wax.
