-100mm Coilovers

Anybody know of any reputable coilovers that will go down 100mm? The only ones I can seem to find are the generic things that are made in the same factory but different names.

    Thanks in advance guys!

Nope there are none. Even with the general raceland type shit that claims 100mm its not possible to achieve that (certainly not safely) without chassis adjustments on a Saxo/106

Gah, not what I wanted to hear

The problem you get is the standard VT Saxos 100mm is pretty much bottomed out. I suspect if you took the spring out completely the car would still sit higher then that. Lowering around 2 inches and your already close to around where the bump stops start.

That's fair enough. Disappointed though. I'm a VW guy at heart and wanted splitter on the floor stance, literally.

    Nevermind, thanks guys!

If your really not bothered about suspension or how it rides it is still possible to slam a saxo. Would be shocking to drive and unsafe to drive at any significant speeds on most roads but can be done. You can cut down the bump stops get a set of dampers turned down and get some custom springs made. It does not cost all that much to do.

If your using small enough wheels you can actually cut down the strut and get some custom shorter dampers made up. The likes of Leda used to make such things on request. Of the other option us actually to extend the strut tower so the top mount sits higher. I have seen some of the WV guys chop the top off a strut tower and just weld on another about a inch or so higher. Both ways you still get some suspension at least.

I really would not recommend any of this though.

I also mentioned that to OC2 a couple of days ago. Don't get me wrong, I'd never drive an unsafe car but I'm not too worried about the ride. My Mk2 Golfs felt like the had concrete for suspension but hey.
