Really you want a lowering kit if your doing it properly.

Have a look at Kamracings website they have lots on there

you can ovously go down on the small springs a standard shocks etc but it won't be a nice ride at all.

cheers mate will have a look! dont reli agree with putting new with old, would rather do the lot. i could do the front myself, but not sure how to lower the back.

picture of the car for a better idea

If you come across alot of speed bumps when your driving daily they only drop it 35-40mm but I you only see them once on a blue moon the drop it 60+mm decked saxos look amazing

Aye, 40mm all round or 50mm of you want that bit extra.

If you need it lowered, i can do the whole lot for £90, thats fitting springs, shocks and adjusting the torsion bar. Obviously you supply the parts.

-60mm spax PSX kit on vtr rims, can have 5 people in the car, no scraping on bends and get over any speedbump without scraping.. the hexagon shaped ones have to be driven over with 2 wheels

personally i would get some 40mm lowering springs off ebay or sumin for 50 quid and get a mechanic or sumone who knows what theyre doing to lower your rear axle 40 mm doesnt look too low but low enough to improve your handling by a great amount! thats what im getting mine anyways probz the cheapest way to get it done!

    hope this helps

Mines dropped 50mm, dnt tend to have problems with speed bumps but ball ache in multi story carparks! Looks the shit tho!
  22. #22
I would go 40mm all round mate, it still looks really low on the VTs as the arch kit hangs a little bit so 40 should cut the wheels nicley. But like someone already said it depends what your using the car for, 60mm is a pain on speed bumps. Mine is 40mm all round, makes a good allrounder
  23. #23
yeh would deffo go for 40 mm personally! just sits nicely above the wheels! if you lower it 60mm if uv got people in the back you could have problems lol my mates scrapes on floor if 1 person sits in back
  24. #24
dont be a fag, have it scraping the floor!!!
  25. #25
i had my old one 50mm mate no problems with speed bumps at all and would be fine on todays pot holes, ill be getting mine done next weeks
  26. #26
    coilover kit br0
50mm all round. subtle and effective.
  27. #27
35-40mm best for handling, again depends what you want from it.
  28. #28
100mil at front, 120mil at back handles lyk gokart

If it could move. 100mm on the front would be touching the floor!
