Knocking/clicking

   Ryt been driving with my window down today since the sun decided to come out, and I noticed a knocking/clocking noise when coming off the clutch and when I take my foot off the throttle sometimes does it when I put put foot back on the accelerator. But this only seems to happen in gear 1 and 2 sometimes 3. Just wanting an explanation of what it could be and any advice on what can be done cheers.

   Somewhere near the front end not sure which side.

   might be ur drive shaft i had the same thing i needed a new drive shaft and wishbone but only fix the drive shaft and it went away have a look or get some 1 to look at it

   Cheers probably take it to a garage coz it's really annoying me when driving I can here it now even with the window up lol

   I will be watching this because mine knocks from the drivers side. It's had new driveshafts because of knackered cv boots. I have just got new wishbones and drop links due to every bit of rubber perishing. Fingers crossed...

   mine knocks on acceleration from a stand still or when i lift the clutch slowly from stand still but nothing seems loose

    Sounds like it could be the release bearing my cousin had a similar problem and im sure thats what it was
