how does the thrust bearing go on

    i changed my clutch a few months ago and since then ive been getting a noise from it everytim i lift the clutch pedal up and i think its the thrust bearing. now im not sure if the thrust bearing clicks onto the fork arm or just sits on there cos i cant get it to click if it does. anyones could help that would be great thanks

    So it doesnt make any noise when the clutch pedal is pushed in? and yes it just sits on the fork. Did you not notice the sound after the clutch job?

    No soon as I push down the clutch it stops and yes it started after the clutch was changed

    Could of knocked it off the folk when you put the gearbox back on?

    could be this, or bearings in the box..
