Painting a Dimma Show Cage

  1. #1
Ok made this thread on the temp forum but its gone now so il ask again.....

I am buying a dimma show cage for £50 off a friend (Bargain me thinks) and i want to spray it matt black to match my wheels and rub strips to keep the blue / black theme.

How would i go about painting the cage? Spay / brush? Which paint shall i use and where can i get it from?!?!

    Cheers lads

If you want to paint the cage you will need to buy/use some acid etcg primer. This works buy eating into metal and gripping it. If you use normal or two pack the paint will crack and fall off after only a short time. Hope this helps

I wouldent go for a matt black on the inside of your car, i think it will make it look a bit old and haggered to be honest. Why not do it black like riggsy's. His came out well. Still my advice is dont do it matt black, The outside of your car is not the inside of your car so it may be a bit much, would be a waste of good paint if it dident look nice.
