seatbelts

    Sparco do some 4 point seatbelts. Can u use these on the road also on the website they said they had two types snap on and bolt on does anyone know what this is. Thanks

    Provided they're E-marked they're road legal. If it's the 4 point ones I'm assuming they are then yes they're road legal.

    Snap-On/Bolt-On refers to the fittment of them. Bolt on's require solid bolting to the mounting points which means they are permanently fitted to the car unless you carry a spanner around with you. Snap-On means they have a clip fitting which attaches to an eye bolt at the mounting point like this:



    Bolt on's would bolt directly to the hole where that Eye bolt is like this:



    Basically, if you want to be able to remove them if you're going to have people in the back occasionally etc, get clip in. If you're planning on leaving them in permanently then get either.

    I do have a spanner from when I was doing the sub. Them snap on ones look the best bet does the car already have the rings that the clips on the belt attach to or do they come with the belts and you screw them in or sumut thanks for the help btw

    The car doesn't come with them aleady no. Mine came with the Harnesses (most should) but if not they're only a couple of quid each.

    Yep. Remove the original bolt that's securing the original belt parts and replace it with the eye-bolt.
