Got a MK2 Saxo Vtr 02 plate, cutting out everytime i let my foot off the accelerator, had battery and alternator tested, checked idle sensor.. dont think thats it either. Any other suggestions? im thinking maybe lambda sensors?? really wana sort this out coz its gettin pretty annoying!
Important! : Car cutting out when idling/low revs

#2Try cleaning the ICV if it doesnt solve it try cleaning the plugs on the sensors and the lambda sensors themselves.

#3Hi mate might be worth having a look on your throttle body, right where the plastic bit is that the throttle cable goes on, there is a male torx? bit that adjusts where the throttle stops when it returns. my vts was cutting out occasionally when i came back down the revs, tried all sorts (icv etc). I the end i cleaned the throttle body out and adjusted that and its been fine, not sure if its a similar set up but gotta be worth a try?

#4is it running lumpy at all before it cuts out?

#5Best bet is to clean the Idle Control Value, Petrol is usually the best to clean it with to get all the gunk of it.

#6Clean the throttle body itself along with the ICV should sort it out. If not check the throttle cable like suggested by DanTvts
