DIY: cupholder?

   a little while back i saw someone made their own cupholder for their saxo, in the part underneath where your stereo is/infront of your gear stick... is there any guides on how to do this or has anyone done it? im getting fed up of having to hold a drink between my legs whilst driving lol

   Although, if you're on about mcds cups, I find the best place is if you put both front seats equal, the cup fits perfectly in between the reclining levers.

   yeah mcdonalds cup holders are wank... this sounds like a sketchy idea... i dont fancy sticky coke all over my handbrake tbh

   do they literally just sit in there then? i thought you may have to fix it in place... would happily pay someone to make me one

   think its a good idea to have a cup holder! the 2 in the glove box are shocking!

    I would surgest looking on ebay, see if there is some kind of universal one. Or buy one from another car and tweak it to fit, would be very cheap

    yeah i may just get a universal one lol, ive seen someone fit a mondeo cup holder into where the fake black buttons are on your dash, next to the hazards and rear windscreen demister.. knowing my luck, ill end up with no buttons in my dash and no cup holder lol

    Halfords do Universal ones, no idea if they're any good though.

    I think getting a universal drink holder, and putting it where a blank switch is, is a good idea. Although i moved my switches so the hazard was in middle, could put two in. One. Either side

    Where did you get the pushin release cupholder from? I was actually thinking about this the other day, relocating the switches lower down and putting a cupholder where all the blanks are.

    Polos have the push out cup holders, smooth one of them into the dash/center console somewhere
