Funny clocks weid car help me please

   Some times when I'm driving All of my clocks die then within two seconds they bounce back to what there ment to be on I do have a strange idle and my clocks stuck on 2000 rpm the other day I turned my car off and it went back to normal also on idle sometimes it sits on 1000 then drops to near 0 then comes back up then down and so on but if I turn car off then on it stops any help please

   I had this, its an earth problem check the earth on the gearbox and the side of the car from the negative terminal from the battery

   Also i dissconected the ECU and the Fuel injection relay underneeth the ecu for arround 1 min and it hasnt givin me a probelm since.

   If all your dials are sticking at say 40mph and 2000rpm its def something electrical, i had the symptoms apart from the idleing and it was dodgey wiring on the alternator.

    check its connected properly and no breaks in the wire ?
