Important! : AP racing brake fluid...............

    hello everyone, got my uprated brakes here and was thinking about draining the whole system fitting some braided hoses and filling it up with dot 5.1 AP racing brake fluid. Have any of you used this stuff?? was just gonna get some comma 5.1 till i saw the AP racing fluid. heres a link.......... opinions please.

    road car? if so wouldnt waste money.

    track car yes uprated fluid. never used that type. i use bendix synthetic 5.1 in my track saxx.

    ap fluid is well rated. if you are on track a lot then would be a good investment

    Its a very good all round fluid for road and track days. There are higher spec out and out race fluids but I would not use them on a road car.

    does what it says on the tin basically,

    i use the ap660 fluid, not had any issues unlike lesser stuff.

    it is for a road car, but was just wanting to get the best stuff i could get withing my price range. mainly for fast road use.

    I've currently got the Comma 5.1 you mentioned in my fast road saxo and will be replacing with AP600 it as soon as I get a spare weekend to do it.

    I've run the AP in racing cars and it's proved very reliable and consistent.

    Motul RBF660 is great stuff and it's cheap. wouldnt bother breaking the bank but i can defiantley say this (along with braided lines) made a HUGE difference after a few hard laps in terms of pedal feel.
