#2Rubs on the track rod iirc, left hand side, you will see the powersteering pipe, using a power steering pipe off a 1.4 will give you better clearance

#3ok cheers! will check it out tommorrow thought id better have a look before i find out my powersteering stopped working 1day

#4Bumping this thread now.... Has anybody actualy bent the pipe out of the way? cause mine is rubbing now and its difficult to bend it :/
-
#5Yes, I gave mine a wee nudge over and it just clears the steering arm now. Bounce the car and look at the pipe were its rubbing to determine if it needs to be moved over more or not. I used a big dum screwdriver to gently move it.

#6Yeah as Stevo said, get a big strong screwdriver in there and lever it till it clears, you must make sure you bounce it though as it wont look like it's rubbing.
Also just check that the bolt is tightened up towards the left side of the bay as they can jiggle loose, mine did and pised fluid everywhere lol -
#7mk1 pipes also give more clearance and are a straight fit onto mk2s

#8Which reminds me, you want me to bring your pipe back at FCS Jason ?
