the best way - shot blast and powdercoat.

the other option is to rub them down with 120 grit and fill any curb marks with chemical metal and shape with 120 grit once hard.

them primer with 3-4 coats of primer filler

rub down till smooth with 600-800 wet and dry

dry and clean with meth's spirit

paint with base coat 2-3 coats

paint with clear coat 2 coats

leave a week and polish up

a good de-greaser or a wash with fairy liquid and a brush then a wipe over with panel wipe or paint thinners.

if theyre not curbed then why dont you just clean them? use a wheel leaner, wonder wheels in asda does the trick then get abit of tardis on them to remove the tar spots then if theres any brake fibres left then a little wipe with iron x will remove it, after its done the wheels will be like new , plus if you do it that way you can always stay on top of cleaning them or sell of the left over product to me
